Inland Port Letters

Last week, two letters to the editor were published in the Salt Lake Tribune regarding the Utah Inland Port boondoggle. The first concerns how the port undermines the importance of conserving water:

Letter: Conserving water is a high priority, but the Inland Port undermines it

The second addressing the negative impacts the port would have on the community, including increased traffic, noise, and pollution:

Letter: Inland Port will bring increased traffic, noise and pollution, and negate benefits of living here

Both letters are informative and represent the public’s staunch opposition to the development of the port. Again, we stress that this port has grave implications to our community and ecosystem.
