“The best thing an individual can do is not be an individual”
We loved the sentiment of David Folland’s Salt Lake Tribune Op-ed, where he wrote, “What can one person do in the face of these worrisome climate changes? The best response I’ve heard is from author, activist and educator, Bill McKibben: “the most important thing an individual can do is not be an individual.” In other words, become involved with one of the organizations that bring people together in finding climate solutions” and appreciate his inclusion of UPHE as one of those groups!
UPHE works hard to be worthy of your trust and membership. We are so much stronger together, and we don’t have to accept the results of the climate crisis. We can still build a better future, together.
